Sandra serves as an Advisor Support in our Kaitaia office and has been a valued team member since 2023.  She is committed to providing excellent customer service to our clients, providing personal, friendly hands on support.
Sandra and her husband have 3 adult sons and 2 grandchildren that keeps them busy.

Richard provides advice on insurance and investment, the aim being to protect and grow your wealth. To give the right advice that’s tailored to your needs, he takes the time to get to know you, to understand what is important to you, your goals and aspirations. He will then put a plan in place that is monitored and reviewed on a regular basis to help you keep on track. His wife and children think he has a really boring job dealing with numbers all day, but he tells them it’s not – it’s all about helping people and building long term relationships.

Pamela has been involved in the financial services industry since 1974. Having spent 22 years in banking, Pamela left a Branch Management position to pursue a career as Financial Adviser in 1996. As a Financial Adviser Pamela works to assist people to plan and achieve their financial goals. Her main focus is in the area of Group Health Plans and Risk Protection – Life, Trauma, Disability and Income type covers for both personal and business clients.

Pam’s qualifications include a General Management Certificate (University of Auckland) and Adviser Link Introduction to Financial Planning (Honours) 1999. She also holds a current Wealthpoint Certificate to Practice and keeps her qualifications up-to-date to remain on the cutting edge of changes in the insurance industry. Pamela is authorised to provide advice on Risk products from AMP, Fidelity Life, Asteron, Southern Cross, AIA, Sovereign, NIB and General Insurance products working under the umbrella of Wealthpoint North. Pam is married with two adult children and is actively involved in Rotary, currently District Chair for Membership with District 9920.

Tony has worked in the financial services industry since 1991, focusing on personal and business insurance. He believes that in order to offer his clients the best service available, ongoing education is imperative. Tony holds a Diploma in Business Studies for Financial Planning (Massey University) and in relation to business insurance achieved an Honour’s grade pass in Business Financial Services, focusing on business and company risk issues. In a world where it is easy to buy ‘off the shelf’ products, personalisation of a client’s needs is paramount.

Tony’s processes are focused on solid ‘risk management advice’ rather than insurance sales. Therefore, you can be sure that you will get a plan which has been optimised and designed for your own circumstances. Tony has a dual role within the business being both Adviser and General Manager of Wealthpoint North.

Following a career in general management and business consultancy Jason joined Wealthpoint in early 2014. Jason holds a Practicing Certificate along with a Master’s degree from the University of Auckland with a major in economics.

Jason specialises in personal and business risk management as well as providing mortgage finance through New Zealand’s top lenders. With an understanding of current circumstances and future goals, Jason is able to provide his clients with peace of mind, knowing they have a plan in place to take care of the unexpected. By working with New Zealand’s leading insurers Jason will recommend products that provide the right cover whilst ensuring the best value for money is obtained, along with regular reviews to ensure the plan remains relevant over time. Jason and his wife Kim have six children between them, so any spare time is precious. They enjoy travelling and spending time with friends and feel privileged to live in the beautiful Bay of Islands.

Sean joined the Wealthpoint North team in 2022 and currently specialises in personal risk insurance and residential lending advice. He is based in the Whangarei office and works with customers throughout Northland. Sean holds a Wealthpoint practising certificate as well as qualifications in the New Zealand certificate in Financial Services. Sean enjoys working with a wide range of people to provide personally tailored insurance packages and providing mortgage finance.

Sean has a extensive range of experience from previous roles which have been largely focussed around building and maintain client relationships, stakeholder management, customer service and sales. Sean likes to make his advice easy to understand and always with the best customer outcome in mind. When Sean isn’t at work, you will likely find him at his local golf course where he volunteers his time as the men’s club captain, he also enjoys playing hockey and is a long time cricket nut.

Marty is based in Whangarei city, but looks after customers from Auckland all the way to Cape Reinga. Marty has been working as a Financial Adviser since 1994. He holds a Wealthpoint Practicing Certificate as well as a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Massey University, 2007), majoring in Personal Financial Planning. Marty’s main area of expertise is in providing mortgage finance for clients as well as personal risk management, life, trauma disability and health insurance. He also provides a general insurance service.

Marty thoroughly enjoys meeting with clients and building strong personal relationships where he can understand and meet their needs over the long term. Marty is married to Tina and they have two adult children, Michael and Nicole, and a fantastic grandson, Kade. Marty and Tina have a property in Onerahi which, being right next to the water, allows them to take part in water sports which they both love. Much to Tina’s disgust, Marty is also a bit of golf nut.

Cassandrea serves as an adviser at Wealthpoint North, stationed in their Warkworth office, and has been a valued team member since 2014. Her expertise lies in personal risk insurance, along with proficiency in domestic, farm, and business insurance. Cass holds qualifications in the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services, as well as a Bachelor of Business Studies. Committed to cultivating enduring connections with her clients, Cass adopts a straightforward, easy-to-understand approach to providing insurance guidance. She ensures clients comprehend their options and crafts a customized plan that aligns with their evolving needs. Beyond her professional pursuits, Cass finds joy in outdoor activities, particularly those involving water.

Court or Courtney is based in our Kerikeri office. She is a qualified Financial Adviser in General Insurance and has joined us from Vero where she was an underwriter of Commercial and Rural Insurance. In the past she has experience as a claim’s advisor (Health Insurance), an advisor (Health and Life) and a trained Veterinary Nurse among other things.

She is passionate about helping people, building lasting relationships and making a positive contribution to her community. She keeps busy with 3 young children and 2 dogs.
